Using Adobe Elements 7: Quick Edit Mode
Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 has three modes to choose from when editing images: Quick, Guided, and Full edit mode. We’ll show how the Quick Edit mode works so you can see how easy it is to use Photoshop Elements.
We have a picture already opened in Photoshop Elements, and we’ve picked the Before & After – Horizontal view, so we can see, in real time, what effect our changes have on the image. The Quick Edit mode gives both the option of automatically correcting an image’s lighting, color, and sharpness levels, along with sliding bars for manual adjustment.
This is the result of pressing the Auto Smart Fix button. You can see that the red eyes have been corrected, and the overall lighting and contrast levels have been raised.

Now let’s just tidy things up with a quick Auto Sharpen, and voila! The photo looks great and is ready for printing. Unless I want to get rid of that pesky logo on the shirt. NO FREE ADVERTISING!
