Using Adobe Elements 7: Guided Edit Mode
One of the best features of Photoshop Elements 7 is its Guided Edit mode. Guided Edit mode walks you through each feature, one at a time until your image is up to your standards. What’s more is Elements’ Guided Edit mode is only four easy steps: Crop, Lighten or Darken, Touch Up, and Sharpen.
Here we used the Crop Tool to take out the most blurry part of the picture.

Cropped! Now we’ll take care of lighting adjustment. You can choose the Auto feature, or manually adjust the sliding bars for the best results. Here we chose manual, and must say we were quite pleased with ourselves.

Since we don’t believe in handing out free advertising, we’ll remove that little logo on the shirt in the Touch Up mode. We used the Healing Brush, which is essentially the same as Photoshop CS3’s Clone Stamp Tool, to remove the logo. While pressing the Alt key, we clicked an area of the shirt we wanted to copy over the logo, then we just clicked over the logo and after a few clicks the logo was gone. It still looked a bit weird afterwards, so we used the Spot Healing Brush to blur a line here and there.

Finally, we sharpened the picture to our heart’s content.
